Deaf Awareness Sessions
The sessions offered are fun packed, interactive and tailored specifically to each job role or client base. Delivered by Lisa Walden, a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult) with 25 plus years of experience working in Education supporting Deaf students.
Deaf Awareness
You and your team will learn what to do and what not to do when communicating with a Deaf person, the different types of deafness and the impact of correct communication and at the same time, will have a fun time learning.
Basic Sign Language
The Deaf Awareness sessions include learning basic sign language. You will learn essential BSL (British Sign Language) signs, finger spelling, and basic conversational skills related to your job role.
